Web design involves the structure of the website including the information architecture (navigation schemes and naming conventions), the layout or the pages (wireframes or page schematics are created to show consistent placement of items including functional features), and the conceptual design with branding.
Such elements as text, forms, images (GIFs, JPEGs, PNGs) and video can be placed on the page using HTML/XHTML/XML tags. Some browsers may require plug-ins such as Adobe Flash, Quick Time, Java run-time environment, etc. to display some media, which are embedded into web page by using HTML/XHTML tags.

Web design is the process of designing websites — a collection of online content including documants and applications that reside on a web server/servers.
As a whole, the process of web design includes planning, post-production, research, advertising, as well as media control that is applied to the pages within the site by the designer or group of designers with a specific purpose. The site itself can be divided into it's main page, also known as the home page, which cites the main objective as well as highlights of the site's daily updates; which also contains hyperlinks that functions to direct viewers to a designated page within the site's domain.

Web designer and web design are not so easy to be …this is planning, post-production, research, advertising …as you can see very hard to do. For this job man must be very patient and take care for every detail. This involes structure of web sites, it is very usefull and simetime obligatory, you can't have web site withoud web designer.
